On behalf of everyone at Uneepi, we hope you are having a great start to the New Year. Now with each New Year, everyone always speaks about resolutions. You will see people declare that this is the year that they will lose weight, save money, or finally take that trip they have always wanted. However, eighty percent of people who start resolutions don’t stick with them. We don’t want you to be in that group of people, so here are some things to keep in mind so you don’t fall in that 80 percent

1. Remember, it adds up…

Instead of worrying about the end goal of losing 100 pounds or saving up 1000 dollars, break it down into chunks. 1000 dollars becomes a lot more manageable if you save 20 bucks every week. 100 pounds becomes easier if you think about getting started with 5 lbs. every month. Keep it simple and consistent, and you’ll hit your target.

2. Plan it out

It may sound cliché, but if you don’t plan, plan to fail. Any resolution that you make, you should write out the steps to achieve that goal. After you write out the steps, talk them over with someone else. If you’re having trouble with a videogame boss, you’d look up tips and tricks, this is no different.

3. Being late is ok, and falling down is ok to.

We all get wrapped up in this idea of starting and being perfect on January 1st. If you can completely do a 180 from December 31st to January 1st, I want to meet you haha. For the rest of us that are figuring things out as we go along mistakes are going to happen and you’re going to want to make adjustments. All of that is ok, just keep pushing forward, and know that the best thing you can do to achieve your goal is take that first step.

Happy New Year from everyone at Uneepi. If you want to talk more tips and tricks, as well as resolutions feel free to schedule a coaching session with our specialist or dm us on social media.
